Hi, I'm Emily Kerkow!

I am an optimistic people-person and obsessive visual researcher who values spontaneity and loves a good story.

My passion for design grew from everyday experiences: sitting in the backseat of my mom’s car, staring at billboards along the always-packed Southern California freeways; strolling down grocery aisles, pointing out my favorite packaging; and admiring well designed lunch menus.

This perspective guides my design process. My aim is not to create work that simply adheres to modern aesthetics or trends. I value deeply thought-out, intentional design that demonstrates longevity and connects with real people.

Outside of work, you'll likely find me somewhere outdoors, sketching in my notebook, chatting with strangers while waiting for our morning coffees, or busy plotting my friends’ and my next escapade. Music is my constant companion, whether at a live performance or blasting a little too loud through my headphones. And of course, there's always the ongoing mission to perfect my guacamole recipe.
